उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरुवार को बनबसा लैंडपोर्ट परियोजना का निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान उन्होंने परियोजना की प्रगति की समीक्षा करते हुए कहा कि यह लैंडपोर्ट भारत-नेपाल के बीच आर्थिक, सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक संबंधों को नई मजबूती प्रदान करेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों को निर्माण कार्यों में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि लैंडपोर्ट बनने से सीमा क्षेत्र में व्यापार और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा तथा स्थानीय युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के नए अवसर सृजित होंगे।
सीएम ने किया विकास कार्यों का जायजा
निरीक्षण के दौरान सीएम धामी ने सीमा क्षेत्र में हो रहे सड़क और बुनियादी ढांचा विकास कार्यों की जानकारी भी ली। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से कहा कि इस परियोजना को निर्धारित समयसीमा के भीतर पूरा किया जाए, ताकि क्षेत्र के विकास का लाभ जल्द जनता को मिल सके।
भारत-नेपाल मैत्री के नए आयाम
सीएम धामी ने कहा, “बनबसा लैंडपोर्ट भारत और नेपाल के बीच व्यापारिक और मानवीय संबंधों को और सशक्त बनाएगा। दोनों देशों की जनता के बीच आने-जाने और वस्तुओं के आदान-प्रदान में आसानी होगी, जिससे सीमाई इलाकों का विकास गति पकड़ेगा।”
लैंडपोर्ट परियोजना का महत्व
बनबसा लैंडपोर्ट उत्तराखंड-नेपाल सीमा पर प्रस्तावित एक महत्वपूर्ण अंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यापारिक प्रवेश द्वार है, जिसे भूमि बंदरगाह प्राधिकरण (Land Ports Authority of India – LPAI) द्वारा विकसित किया जा रहा है। इसके तैयार हो जाने पर यह उत्तराखंड का पहला लैंडपोर्ट होगा, जो व्यापार और आवागमन की दृष्टि से रणनीतिक रूप से अहम साबित होगा।
स्थानीय जनता में उत्साह
मुख्यमंत्री के दौरे के बाद स्थानीय लोगों में परियोजना को लेकर उत्साह देखा गया। व्यापारियों ने कहा कि इससे भारत-नेपाल के बीच व्यापार को नई दिशा मिलेगी और सीमाई क्षेत्र में आर्थिक गतिविधियाँ तेज होंगी।
