The Annual General Meeting of Active Media Press Club was organized in which the activities of the year were discussed in detail and the Treasurer presented the details of income and expenditure. After the general meeting, the election of the new executive was conducted unopposed. In which Sunil Silwal was elected as President and Surat Singh Rawat as General Secretary.
Mussoorie : The Annual General Meeting of Active Media Press Club was held at the Club Auditorium highlighting the activities of the year. Club President Upendra Lekhwar and General Secretary Ashish Bhatt threw light on the activities of the club and said that due to some reasons the annual magazine could not come out which will be brought out soon. An amendment proposal was passed in the meeting that in future the tenure of the executive will be of two years. The members expressed their views in the meeting and all the members expressed confidence in working for the strength of the club and for the benefit of journalists. The new executive body was elected unopposed after the Annual General Meeting. In which Chief Electoral Officer Shoorveer Bhandari announced the new executive. In which Sunil Silwal President, Surat Singh Rawat General Secretary, Mohsin Tanha Treasurer, Harish Kalra Vice President, Naresh Nautiyal Joint Secretary, Upendra Lekhwar Convenor, and Bijendra Pundir, Ashish Bhatt and Deepak Rawat were made members of the Executive Committee.
On this occasion, the newly elected President Sunil Silwal expressed gratitude to all the members for expressing their trust and said that with everyone’s cooperation, work will be done for the benefit of the club.
Journalists including Deepak Saxena, Rajveer Rauchhela, Dharmendra Dhakad, Amit Gupta were present on this occasion.
