Haridwar : On Thursday, Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, in the Premnagar Ashram, organized by the Panchayati Raj Department, in the three-level Panchayat Election-2022 held in district Haridwar, the officers/personnel who gave excellent service and the victorious District Panchayat President, Vice President, Member and Chief, Participated in the program organized to honor the senior head, junior head area panchayat.
Addressing the program, Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj congratulated the three-tier panchayat elections-2022 in Haridwar district for smooth conduct and the officers/personnel who gave excellent service and the district panchayat presidents, vice-presidents, members and chiefs, senior chiefs, who were victorious in the election. Expressing happiness along with congratulating and best wishes to the Junior Chief Area Panchayat, he said that I have always been of the opinion that those who do good work in any field must be rewarded for their enthusiasm. He said that the roots of democracy in India are very deep and our government is continuously strengthening the Panchayats, in which everyone’s cooperation is expected and we are committed to the welfare of the person standing at the end.
Referring to the solid waste management policy in panchayats, Minister Satpal Maharaj said that under the solid waste management policy in panchayats, 2.95 crore for the establishment of plant and machinery under the Common Waste Plastic Recycling Facility in Haridwar district under the Centrally Funded Scheme National Gram Swaraj Abhiyan. An amount of Rs. crore was sanctioned, in which order the District Panchayat Haridwar plant has been made operational and 20 tonnes of plastic waste has been disposed of and 70 compactors have been installed against 95 compactors. He told that the government has sanctioned an amount of Rs.6 crore for the repair of 150 buildings at the rate of Rs.4 lakh per panchayat building, which are in dilapidated condition and need to be repaired. Cabinet Minister Maharaj also informed that with the objective of strengthening Panchayati Raj, the government has identified places for establishment of Shri Deendayal Mini Secretariat at 100 Nyaya Panchayat levels and for data feed of various works in Gram Panchayats. Referring to the village festival, Minister Satpal Maharaj said that our government is working to celebrate the village festival and is linking it with tourism so that the economy of the villagers continues to grow.
Referring to tourism, the cabinet minister said that Shakt Circuit, Bhagwati Circuit, Golju Circuit, Nagraj Circuit, Hanuman Circuit, Vivekananda Circuit, etc. have been developed in the state, so that our tourism can increase as much as possible and common people get its benefit. Referring to Chardham Yatra, he said that the registration for Chardham Yatra is going on online, through telephone and those devotees who want to take helicopter service have also been ensured.

Addressing the program, District Panchayat President Rajendra Singh said that we are running with the basic mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. He said that many important decisions have been taken under the leadership of the Prime Minister since 2014, due to which India’s prestige has increased in the whole world.
