देहरादून के जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने ‘प्रोजेक्ट नंदा-सुनंदा’ के तहत आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर और अनाथ बालिकाओं को शिक्षा के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की है…आज 29 बालिकाओं को लगभग 6 लाख की आर्थिक सहायता की राशि वितरित की गई.. अब तक इस परियोजना के तहत करीब 100से अधिक बालिकाओं की शिक्षा के लिए सहायता दी जा चुकी है…ताकि उनकी रुकी हुई पढ़ाई दोबारा शुरू हो सके और वे आत्मनिर्भर बन सकें…
जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने कहा कि हम इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत हर उस बालिका को मदद देने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं, जो आर्थिक कारणों से पढ़ाई को जारी रखने में सक्षम नहीं है…..नंदा-सुनंदा प्रोजेक्ट में बाल विकास, समाज कल्याण, महिला कल्याण विभाग की भूमिका अहम है… जो पात्र बेटियों को चिन्हित उन्हें योजना का लाभ पहुंचाने का काम कर हैं…वहीं नंदा सुनंदा योजना की राशि पाने पर पात्र बच्चों ने जिलाधिकारी की तारीफ की और कहा की उनको मिली इस राशि से वह अपनी पढ़ाई को सुचारू रख पाएंगे
