Haridwar : State’s Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi reached Haridwar on Sunday. Where he participated as the chief guest in the anniversary program of Devbhoomi Purva Sainik Kalyan Samiti Haridwar. During his address, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said that I come to the programs of soldiers not as a minister but as an ex-serviceman. He said that when I go to the program of soldiers, I feel like being among a family. Minister Joshi said that I do not leave the program of any soldiers, because the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi also celebrates Diwali with the soldiers at the border. Not only this, he said that the head of our state is also the son of a soldier. Minister Joshi said that Uttarakhand is the land of heroes, every fifth soldier standing on the border to protect the country is from Uttarakhand. He said that today, under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, several welfare schemes have been implemented in the state for the welfare of ex-servicemen and their dependents. Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state government has increased the amount on the basis of medals awarded to soldiers for their gallantry. The award of the brave soldier who got Paramveer Chakra has been increased from Rs.30 lakh to Rs.50 lakh.
Minister Joshi said that a grand military shrine is being constructed in Dehradun’s Guniyalgaon as the fifth shrine. Whose work is dynamic. He said that soil has been brought in a urn from the courtyard of 1734 martyred soldiers of the state for the under-construction military base, which has been placed in the foundation of the Amar Jawan Jyoti to be built here. He said that the entrance of the military base has been named after former CDS General Vipin Rawat. being kept from In the same courtyard, the temple of Baba Jaswant Singh and Harbhajan Singh is also being built. Minister Joshi said that the state government is committed for the honor and welfare of the soldiers.
