Mussoorie : Spic Macay programme on shadow puppetry (Tholu Bommalata) was presented in the school auditorium. Oak Grove School bid farewell to the grade 12 students.The chief guest of the occasion was Mr. Ajay Nandan,Divisional Railway Manager, Moradabad Division. Mr.Ajay Nandan and Mr. Abhishek Kesarwani, Principal, Oak Grove School also inaugurated the School Magazine.
At 12.30 P.M the boys and girls walked down escorted by their immediate juniors. The Class-XI students had prepared titles for all their seniors. All the teachers were present to make the event extra special for the boys and girls of Class-XII.
The highlight of the function was the beautiful cultural presentation.
The event began with a casual conversation between the students of grade 11 and 12, during which they recounted the memorable moments of hostel life with their juniors. This was followed by the different games by the students of Class-XII. The students of passing out batch were given fancy titles prepared by their juniors and presented mementos as well .The students of grade-11 screened short movies showcasing pictures and videos on the life of the passing out batch. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ajay Nandan wished good luck to the outgoing students and said that anything can be achieved by the sincere hard work and dedication. Mr. Abhishek Kesarwani, Principal, Oak Grove School said that students should inculcate the moral values amongst themselves and be a good man, citizen and human being as well as they must respect women also. In the farewell party of passing out batch heads of the three wings and members of faculty of the school wished good luck to the passing out students.
